Boss hails heroic Henderson

Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton compared goalkeeper Stephen Henderson to Gordon Banks and hailed a "special night" as his nine men held on for a point in a 2-2 draw at Sheffield Wednesday. Reda Johnson scored his second goal in four games for the Owls since his move from Plymouth in the 86th minute after Giles Coke had missed a re-taken penalty, and striker Gary Madine netted his first goal for the club. Dean Bowditch and Paul Huntington had twice given Yeovil the lead, while visiting pair Luke Ayling and Adam Virgo were sent off within five minutes of each other just after the hour mark. Skiverton said: "That was a great game, I'm still buzzing. The first half was sort of soft then it took off. We were heroes. Our goalkeeper Stephen Henderson was like Gordon Banks with two or three of his saves. "Once we went down to nine men we were really up against it. As a young manager making my way in the game that was a special night. We were down to nine men and playing formations I've never even heard of before. I'm not going to complain about the referee Trevor Kettle. "He's been refereeing us since we were down in the Conference and I thought he had a good game. I couldn't complain about the sending off of Adam Virgo for preventing a goalscoring opportunity. "I didn't think we were going to lose. It was just looking in the players' eyes that convinced me. The fans were right behind us and did well. I'm really enjoying this job whether I'm in charge just for a week, a few months or 10 years, I really enjoy it and will look back on it as being a privilege."
