All square for Glovers

Yeovil had to settle for a point against relegation rivals Walsall in a 1-1 draw, despite dominating for long spells. Town paid the price for poor finishing in the 17th minute when, following a mix-up in attempting to clear a right-wing corner, Jon Macken was allowed to prod the ball over the line. Yeovil continued to miss chances, with Andrew Williams the main offender. But right on the stroke of half-time he featured in the equalising goal. Williams headed down a right-wing cross from Andy Welsh and the ball bounced in off the far post. Andy Butler helped the ball into the net as he attempted to clear but it went down as Williams` goal. The second half saw more of Walsall as an attacking force but Yeovil still dominated without applying the finishing touch. It was Walsall who came closest to snatching the three points when substitute Emanuel Ledesma smashed a drive against the crossbar five minutes from time.
