Wycombe Wanderers' search for a striker is over after confirming the capture of Leon Knight from MK Dons for an undisclosed fee.

The much-travelled Knight, 25, arrives at Adams Park looking to continue his impressive goal-scoring record at all levels of football.

With 81 goals in 227 starts at all three levels of the Football League, Wycombe will be hoping the goals will continue to flow.

After starting his career as a Chelsea youngster, Knight has since starred for QPR, Huddersfield, Sheffield Wednesday and Brighton where he netted the winner in the 2004 League One play-off final.

He also netted two goals in the League Two play-off final for Swansea following a big money move. He continued his goalscoring at MK Dons after his move in January 2007.

Knight replaces Jermaine Easter at Adams Park who has completed his switch to Plymouth for a fee of £210,000.
