Wycombe Wanderers boss Paul Lambert has finally landed his man after ending an eight-month pursuit by signing veteran midfielder Neil Lennon.
Lennon, 36, came close to joining the Chairboys in the summer following his release by Celtic but he eventually opted to sign for Nottingham Forest.
However, after leaving the League One club since falling out of favour, he has now joined Wycombe on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
He will link up with former Celtic team-mate and now Wanderers boss Lambert at Adams Park.
"This is an absolutely huge signing," Lambert told the club's official website.
"Neil is a great player with the personality to match and I can't believe that we've got him.
"As a player and as a man, he's got the lot - ability, experience and most of all the will-to-win.
"I played alongside him at Celtic for five years and believe me he's a winner."
