Wanderers seal Balanta deal

QPR forward Angelo Balanta has joined Wycombe Wanderers on a two-month loan deal.

The 18-year-old has made seven appearances for the Championship club this season, scoring two goals.

"This will be a valuable part of Angelo's development as a professional footballer," R's caretaker manager Gareth Ainsworth told his club's official website.

"Some of the best players in the current England squad, like David Beckham and Rio Ferdinand, were loaned out to lower league sides in the early part of their careers and the positives far outweigh the negatives.

"It will be greatly beneficial for him to play for a Wycombe side currently flying high at the top of League Two."
