Wanderers extend Field stay

Wycombe Wanderers have extended goalkeeper Frank Fielding's loan stay until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old Blackburn Rovers keeper has kept six clean sheets in 16 appearances for the Chairboys and will now remain at Adams Park until May 3.

"I knew nothing about him when he arrived, but I know plenty about him now," manager Paul Lambert told the club's official website.

"I make no apologies for saying that he's an exceptional talent who will go on to have an outstanding career at the highest level."
