Wanderers deal for Johnson

Wycombe Wanderers defender Leon Johnson has signed a 12-month contract extension at Adams Park.

Johnson, 27, will now remain with the Chairboys until June 2010.

Meanwhile striker Scott McGleish has returned to the League Two high-fliers following a three-month loan spell with Northampton Town.

Elsewhere, manager Peter Taylor has turned down an offer for Mike Williamson.

The defender is wanted at Colchester United by former Wycombe boss Paul Lambert.
