Wanderers ace eyes return

Wycombe Wanderers have received a boost with the news that Will Antwi is close to making a comeback from a long-term groin injury.

The Chairboys defender has not featured since January, but is poised to make his return in a reserve team outing against Watford next week.

"There's a few players playing in it - hopefully Will Antwi might have some part," coach Ian Culverhouse told the club's official website.

"He has marked that one down to make an appearance which would be great news for him and for the football club.

"He's a long way off and we don't want to push him too far too quickly, but he would be great for us.

"Will was massive last year and it's nice to see him positive.

"There was a time where he couldn't see light at the end of the tunnel but he's turned the corner now and hopefully he can become a massive force for us."
