Waddock lets frustration show
Wycombe boss Gary Waddock wants his players to start turning draws into wins after seeing them snatch a point with a late equaliser in a 2-2 home draw with Shrewsbury.Tom Bradshaw and Lionel Ainsworth's late strikes looked set to condemn Wycombe to defeat, but Andy Sandell and Lewis Montrose cancelled out the visitors' advantage to ensure a share of the spoils.Waddock said: "We had a period in the second half where we put some pressure on them because we closed down and pressurised further up the park. That's what we want to do every single week. At the moment we're not getting what we want. Draws are no good to us at the minute."We're grinding out draws. It's ok grinding out points, but we want to win football matches and we're unable to do that at the moment."First half we didn't play particularly well. They showed the reason why they are up at the top. To get a goal that late on in the game just shows you the spirit within the group."We've had an indifferent start, and we've picked up a point right at the death. Who knows, that might be the turning point for us."
