Waddock hails Wycombe performance

Wycombe boss Gary Waddock hailed his side for their impressive performance during the 1-0 win over 10-man Bradford.Kevin Betsy netted the only goal of the game to clinch a victory for Wycombe and deny Bradford on manager Peter Taylor's return to Adams Park. The winger bagged the winner with just 10 minutes remaining after the Bantams saw Tommy Doherty go for an early bath having shoved Gareth Ainsworth in the face. The Chairboys made their numerical advantage count when Bradford stopped playing after Stuart Beavon was tripped in their half with the referee's assistant flagging for a free-kick.However, as City stopped, Matt Bloomfield surged into the penalty area, and despite being tripped by Lenny Pidgeley, Betsy was on hand to tap in the loose ball."It was a really good football match," said Waddock. "They're a really good side. Peter Taylor has assembled a good side, very competitive. They've got some good quality in their side but what a good result for us."
