Taylor takes McGleish action

Wycombe Wanderers have fined Scott McGleish after the striker reacted to being substituted in the goalless draw with Brentford at the weekend.

Chairboys boss Peter Taylor has confirmed he took action after McGleish reacted angrily to being replaced on 58 minutes by Matt Harrold.

"I can confirm that he has been disciplined and I don't want to see a reaction like that from any of my players," he told the club's official website.

"It's a squad who get success not just a team of eleven players, and if it means me making a sub after an hour to try and change the game then so be it.

"It's my job to make substitutions and I don't expect a reaction like that when someone is substituted.

"Me and Scott have spoken and he has apologised and said the reason he did was through frustration through the way he played."
