Peter Taylor has shrugged off criticism of his side's style after Wycombe Wanderers took over leadership of League Two with a 1-0 win at Rochdale on Saturday.
The Chairboys have picked up 13 points from the 15 on offer in the opening weeks of the campaign, but were criticised for their defensive play after taking the lead at Spotland.
"We set our stall out and we've played against two good footballing teams in the last fortnight," Taylor told the club's official website.
"Maybe we played a little deeper than normal, but that's because we were playing against two strong teams, and if some people think we're boring then it doesn't really matter as long as we win.
"It doesn't matter whether you're playing at home or away - you need to keep working hard if you want to be successful."
