Taylor enjoys massive victory

Boss Peter Taylor hailed his Wycombe Wanderers side's 1-0 victory at Shrewsbury Town as a 'massive performance'.

A Matt Harrold strike was enough to see off the Shrews and move the Chairboys nine points clear at the top of the League Two table.

Taylor told his club's official website: "I thought it was a massive performance.

"It was a massive game away at Shrewsbury, they are one of the favourites and they are a very good team.

"The boys really stuck to their task, I thought it was an outstanding away win and these are the sort of places we need to get points if we want to have a good season.

"To come here and take three points is magnificent. That result is my Christmas present, I don't want anything else. To win here is terrific."
