Wycombe Wanderers boss Peter Taylor was pleased with his side's goalless draw at home to Brentford, even if the Chairboys surrendered top spot in League Two.
Wycombe have not conceded a league goal since the opening day of the season and Taylor believes that his team is still heading in the right direction.
He told the club's official website: "The supporters came into the stadium happy because we were top of the league and hopefully they're not going home too unhappy because we've moved to third.
"There's a lot of interest around the place and hopefully the fans can see that we're trying to play football the right way.
"We've made an outstanding start to the season and, even though we didn't do quite so well today, you can't expect to be at your best in every game.
"I was looking for three points before the match and, although we might be a little disappointed at only getting a draw, I think we'll look back on it in a few weeks and say it was a good point to get."
