Shearer sounds cup warning

Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Scott Shearer has warned his team-mates not to under-estimate the challenge posed by FA Cup opponents AFC Wimbledon.

The Chairboys are currently flying high at the top of the League Two table following an unbeaten start to the season and take on the Conference South side on Monday evening in an intriguing first-round tie.

"It's going to be a tough place to go and it's down to attitude again," Shearer told the club's official website.

"A lower league club like themselves will step their game up so it's going to be down massively to our attitude and the way we prepare.

"Everyone thinks they can do well and that they can become this season's giant-killers. We've just got to make sure that doesn't happen to us."
