Reid seals Wanderers move

Plymouth Argyle teenager Reuben Reid has joined Wycombe Wanderers on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old impressed Chairboys boss Paul Lambert during their Carling Cup first round defeat at the hands of Plymouth earlier in the month and will now remain at Adams Park until the end of the campaign.

"Reuben really impressed us that night and all the boys were talking about him after the game," Lambert told the club's official website.

"He played on the right of midfield against us, but his real position is up front.

"I know that Plymouth see him as a big prospect for the future and we're delighted to get him."

Meanwhile, Lambert has revealed he turned down a bid from Plymouth for striker Jermaine Easter.

"Plymouth made a bid for Jermaine that was much higher than Swindon's offer, but we've turned that down and also said no to an increased bid that they've just made," he added.
