Pittman stars for Chairboys

Wycombe Wanderers forward Jon-Paul Pittman won high praise from boss Peter Taylor for his part in the 3-0 victory over Aldershot Town. The win kept the Chairboys in prime position for automatic promotion to League One, with Pittman having a hand in all three goals at Adams Park. Taylor said: "Jon-Paul has taken a little bit of time to believe in himself, but he is improving all the time. "I thought he was immense - his work for the goals was tremendous and I'm not sure why his own effort was disallowed. "There are a lot of players like Jon-Paul in non-league who can make the step up, they just have to believe in themselves." Pittman has scored three goals in 14 games for Wycombe since his arrival from Crawley Town in January.
