Pittman eyes promotion

Wycombe Wanderers' new signing Jon-Paul Pittman is setting his sights on winning promotion to League One.

Chairboys boss Peter Taylor recently signed Pittman after the striker produced a string of impressive performances for Blue Square Premier League side Crawley Town.

Now the forward, who has had spells with Nottingham Forest and Doncaster Rovers, is preparing to fire his new side to glory this season.

Pittman said: "Promotion is definitely the goal and the boys have made a good start and hopefully we can kick on and get over the finishing line.

"It would be nice if this time next year we find ourselves in League One and hopefully that will become a reality."

Pittman is hoping to make his debut for Taylor's side against Darlington this weekend.
