Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Matt Bloomfield is targeting promotion after signing a one-year extension to his contract to keep him at the club until the summer of 2008.
The 22-year-old was set to be out of contract next summer but has opted to stay after a promising start to the campaign on both a personal and team level.
He told the club's official website: "I had to establish myself in the team. The next step is to move on and make sure we get promoted."
Bloomfield joined the Chairboys from Ipswich Town in December 2003 and has since scored eight times in 85 league outings.
