Hinshelwood announces retirement

Wycombe defender Adam Hinshelwood has been forced to retire after suffering a serious knee injury.The 26-year-old underwent exploratory surgery a week ago after breaking down during pre-season training. He told the club website: "I was hoping it was going to be a cartilage problem and I would return in time to run out on the first day of the season.
