Extensions for Wycombe duo

Wycombe Wanderers defenders Craig Woodman and Leon Johnson have both been rewarded with contract extensions.

Recently crowned player of the year Woodman and Johnson helped the Chairboys to promotion this season and triggered extension clauses in their deals in the process which will keep them at the club until summer 2011.

"The duo played pivotal roles in helping the Blues break the club's clean sheet record of 19 for the Football League, as the Chairboys notched up 21 last season," read a club statement.

"Woodman played all but ten minutes of the Chairboys' charge to League One, while Johnson played an important part in one of the country's best defensive units."
