Wycombe Wanderers striker Jermaine Easter is being linked with a shock move to Romanian side Universitatea Craiova.

The 24-year-old former Cambridge United and Stockport County star scored the crucial goal as the Chairboys beat Premiership side Charlton Athletic in the quarter--finals of the Carling Cup earlier this week.

Craiova club official Vlad Rosca told the Daily Mirror: "We really like the way he plays and I hope he'll transfer to us.

"He's very quick and good with the ball. I have spoken to Wanderers and, if they are open to a transfer, I would like to see him play."
