Donnelly's patience pays off

Wycombe midfielder Scott Donnelly is looking to push forward after netting his first goal of the campaign.The 23-year-old, who is on loan from Swansea, netted the equaliser in Wanderers' draw with Port Vale at the weekend in his first start since August."It has been a long time coming," he told the Buckinghamshire Examiner."I was telling the lads in the changing room before the game that I felt like I was going to score. It would have been nice for it to have been the winner."I am still a little bit off my match fitness so hopefully now I can get more minutes, kick on and get some more goals."It has been hard but I have had no complaints really. I have had to bide my time because the lads have been fantastic."M
