Chambers ends Chairboys loan

Ashley Chambers has returned to Leicester City after spending the first three months of the season on loan at Wycombe Wanderers.

Former Chairboys boss Peter Taylor signed the teenager in August but he struggled to become a first-team regular at Adams Park.

He scored the equaliser in the 1-1 draw at Swindon Town in early September but made only four appearances from the substitute's bench for the relegation-threatened League One side.

His chances of breaking into the first team have been further eroded by the recent arrival of John Akinde.

Wanderers boss Gary Waddock told the club's official website: "I'd like to thank Ashley for his efforts during his time at the club and wish him the best for the future."
