Chairboys wait on McCracken

Wycombe Wanderers boss Peter Taylor is still waiting to see whether captain Dave McCracken will pen a new contract at Adams Park.

The 27-year-old defender has been with the Chairboys for two seasons, but has yet to decide whether to extend his stay with the club, who have just won promotion to League One.

Taylor told the Bucks Free Press: "I'm still very hopeful.

"I would really like to keep him and if we were out of the loop I am sure he would have told me, because that's the sort of honest person he is."
