Chairboys pounce for Pittman

Wycombe Wanderers have swooped to sign Crawley Town's highly-rated striker Jon-Paul Pittman for an undisclosed transfer fee.

The 22-year-old, who has scored 31 times in 72 appearances for the Blue Square Premier League side, has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Chairboys.

Taylor told the club's official website:"I'm excited to have him here.

"He's a very, very quick player and has had a nice grounding at Aston Villa and Forest. Hopefully this is really going to work out for us."
