Chairboys move for Church

Wycombe Wanderers have agreed a one-month loan deal for Reading striker Simon Church.

The 19-year-old Wales Under-21 international has yet to make his senior debut for the Royals, but has played first-team football during loan stints with Crewe Alexandra and Yeovil Town.

Chairboys boss Peter Taylor told the club's official website: "He's a very hard-working player.

"I'm delighted that Reading have allowed him to come here and I appreciate the board letting me bring him in.

"I'm still looking for a big centre-forward and if we can get one then that'll be great.

"The transfer deadline's coming up, but hopefully we'll be able to tie something up soon."
