Chairboys bring in Golbourne

Wycombe Wanderers have signed Reading's left-back Scott Golbourne on a month's loan.

The 18-year-old may extend his stay if he impresses at Adams Park, with the Chairboys having been on the lookout for a new full-back since the summer departure of Clint Easton to Gillingham.

Golbourne joined the Royals in January from Bristol City, but has so far managed just one first-team appearance at the Madejski Stadium.

His opportunities were likely to be even more limited this season, with Reading now in the Premiership.
