Chairboys appoint Waddock

Wycombe Wanderers have named the former QPR and Aldershot Town boss Gary Waddock as their new manager.
Waddock, who is joined at Adams Park by his Shots assistant Martin Kuhl, replaces Peter Taylor who left the club last week in the wake of the Chairboys' poor start to the League One season.
Former Republic of Ireland international Waddock featured in over 200 games for QPR during a playing career that also took in spells with Belgian club Charleroi as well as Millwall, Bristol Rovers and Luton Town.
After a short spell as the manager at Loftus Road, Waddock took charge of Aldershot in May 2007 and guided them to promotion from the Conference 12 months later before establishing the Shots in League Two last term.
