Bullish Betsy predicts survival

Kevin Betsy believes Wycombe Wanderers can avoid relegation this season after completing his transfer from Southend United to Adams Park.

The 31-year-old spent the first four months of the campaign on loan with the Chairboys, but now returns to the club on a free transfer.

Betsy said: "We need to remain in a positive frame of mind and look to get as many points as we can to get us out of this position.

"When you're at the bottom things don't always go your way but we've got to keep going, do the things the manager (Gary Waddock) wants us to do and hopefully we can get out of it.

"We've not been as consistent as we can be and, if I'm honest, the fixtures haven't been that kind towards us."
