Blues slam Easter offer

Wycombe Wanderers have dismissed a £125,000 offer for striker Jermaine Easter from Swindon Town.

The Chairboys were less than impressed by the offer from the League One Robins, with Wales international Easter also said to be interesting Plymouth Argyle.

Blues managing director Steve Hayes told the Bucks Free Press: "It was an insult to the player and the club. It made me angry.

"This is a player who was one of the top goalscorers in the division last year, he scored against three Premiership sides in the cup and is now a Welsh international - and they are offering that.

"It is taking the mickey."

Easter has been with Wanderers since January 2006, netting 27 goals in 65 appearances for the Adams Park club.
