Andre joins Adams family
09 Aug 2007 - 09:28:11
Wycombe Wanderers have signed former Peterborough United and Aldershot Town midfielder Andre Boucaud on a one-year contract.
The 22-year-old joins on a free transfer from Kettering Town, having impressed during the pre-season build-up with the Chairboys.
Wycombe boss Paul Lambert told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to get Andre. He's been with us a few weeks and he's done really well in training and our pre-season games.
"He's only 22, but he plays older than his years and he's a gritty competitor, who is also very good on the ball. I'm sure our fans will like him."
As Boucaud arrives, Chris Palmer has left Adams Park to join League Two rivals Darlington on loan until the turn of the year.
The 23-year-old midfielder was a regular at the start of last season, but faded from the picture later on.
Lambert added: "This move will help him regain the sort of form he was displaying this time last year and I'm sure he'll come back to us in the New Year a better player."
