Lewis to miss out for Chairboys

Wycombe will be without club captain Stuart Lewis when they welcome Hartlepool.

The Chairboys midfielder has missed the last two matches with a hamstring injury which looks certain to keep him out of action once more.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth remains short of midfield cover in Lewis' absence and also in defence. Brentford loanee Aaron Pierre is set to be in the squad with fellow defenders Charles Dunne (leg), Gary Doherty (arm) and Tommy Fletcher (thigh) all sidelined.

Meanwhile, striker Reece Styche is likely to be included after missing last weekend's clash with Southend as he was on international duty with Gibraltar.

Hartlepool manager Colin Cooper has no new selection issues as his side bid to step up their play-off challenge with victory.

Pools, whose 3-0 home win against Torquay last week lifted them to within five points of the top seven, have no new injury or suspension problems, but defenders Neil Austin and Michael Duckworth both remain sidelined.

Austin has been struggling with a foot problem since the beginning of the month and Duckworth is nursing soft tissue damage after being stretchered off at Northampton a fortnight ago amid fears he had broken his leg.

Striker Marlon Harewood scored his first goal in nine appearances for the club last week and is expected to resume up front alongside 14-goal teenager Luke James.
