Ainsworth to include himself

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth could name himself in the matchday squad for their huge clash with Bristol Rovers at Adams Park.

Paris Cowan-Hill's ankle problem and Matt McClure's hamstring injury have left the Chairboys short of attacking options and forced Ainsworth to put himself on the bench for the 1-0 defeat at Fleetwood.

And with Dean Morgan aggravating his groin injury the Blues boss will be hoping his side does not suffer any more injuries ahead of Saturday's clash against a Rovers side only below them on goal difference.

Leon Johnson looks set to miss out once more while Charles Dunne will be involved once more having appeared on the bench on Monday for the first time since breaking his leg in December.

Bristol Rovers will be without Michael Smith for one of the biggest matches in their history.

The 25-year-old right-back was taken off in their 3-2 defeat at Portsmouth with a thigh injury and looked like he may return for the Chairboys clash but he confirmed on Twitter that his season is over.

But boss Darrell Clarke will wait on the fitness of Danny Woodards (hamstring), Steven Gillespie (hamstring) and Chris Beardsley (knee) who all missed Monday's 2-1 defeat to Rochdale.

Rovers and Wycombe are only separated by goal difference at the foot of League Two and defeat would leave the Pirates with it all to do on the final day.
