Archer back for Wycombe

Wycombe goalkeeper Jordan Archer is set to line up against Accrington after returning from international duty.

Chairboys boss Gareth Ainsworth was set to hand youngster Matt Ingram a full debut against Burton while Archer was on Scotland Under-21 duty but the match was postponed, denying the 19-year-old his chance to shine.

Ainsworth, whose side have not played for 10 days due to the snowy conditions, is likely to hand Gary Doherty another start after the experienced defender returned to the line-up for the first time since November against Bradford.

That means defender Kortney Hause could feature on the bench again after recovering from a knee problem.

Midfielder Stuart Lewis is likely to feature despite being one yellow card away from a two-match suspension.

Wycombe are eight points clear of the relegation zone and Ainsworth believes one more victory will secure npower League Two football next season.

Francis Jeffers is expected to lose his race to be fit for Accrington.

Jeffers sustained a hamstring injury during last weekend's 1-0 defeat to league leaders Gillingham, making way for fellow former England international James Beattie.

Alongside Beattie, Rommy Boco provides another option in attack having returned from international duty with Benin and striker Padraig Amond is edging closer to full fitness following an abductor problem.

Elsewhere, Stanley boss Leam Richardson is set to stick with the same squad that went down 1-0 at the Priestfield Stadium, with defenders Nicky Hunt (hamstring) and Mark Hughes (calf) still sidelined.

Accrington lie two points and one place above the relegation zone with six matches remaining.
