Wycombe boss Gary Waddock is set to make changes for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy southern section second round trip to Colchester. Waddock saw his side record back-to-back wins at Stevenage on Saturday but is likely to rotate his squad for the cup tie. Veteran midfielder Gareth Ainsworth made both goals at Stevenage but is set to be rested so youngster Matt McClure could come in. Defender Dave Winfield returned from illness as a late substitute at the weekend and he could return to the starting line-up. Striker Stuart Beavon could sit out having starred in the last two games since returning from a broken leg, with Scott Rendell poised to play. Former Leeds midfielder Ian Westlake is available after he returned from an ankle injury, while Jon-Paul Pittman will be out for at least four months after undergoing surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in his knee.
