Waddock pleased with summer signings

Wycombe manager Gary Waddock believes his seven summer signings can only benefit from joining the club so early in pre-season. Nikki Bull, Dave Winfield, Andy Sandell, Danny Foster, Keiran Murtagh, Ben Strevens and Scott Rendall have all enjoyed a full week's training with their new team-mates ahead of the first pre-season clash at Chesham on Tuesday. The Chairboys boss told the club's official website: "The fact we've been able to bring the players in so early gives us more time to work with them, they get to know their new team-mates, they get to know how we want to play and they do our pre-season, which is important. "They've trained really well. They've come in, settled in and worked hard, but so have the players that were here last season. The whole group have worked hard. "It's obvious they've looked after themselves over the summer and they've come back in good shape."
