Waddock hands squad a break

Wycombe manager Gary Waddock has rewarded his players with a break following their recent hard work. The Chairboys have a weekend off following Hereford's involvement in the FA Cup and after a hectic schedule in recent weeks, Waddock believes the break will freshen up his squad in preparation for the business end of the season. "The lads have been fantastic lately and with lots of games coming up, we thought it would be beneficial to give them a couple of days rest," Waddock told the club's official website. "Recovery is an important aspect of the game and we want the players to be fresh both mentally and physically for the game against Cheltenham."
