Wycombe manager Gary Waddock described his side's first-half performance against Burton as the best he has seen in his 12 months in charge. The Chairboys won 2-1 to take all three points away from the Pirelli Stadium and Waddock was delighted with the display. "The first-half was as good as anything I have seen from us. We were excellent," he told the Bucks Free Press. "We moved the ball really well but before that we worked really hard to get it. It was very pleasing and the two goals that won it were fantastic strikes. Waddock also had praise for Gareth Ainsworth who scored his 100th career goal. "It was a great strike for Gaz to get his 100th goal and it would have to be close to one of his best," he added.
