Waddock delight at Wanderers win

Wycombe manager Gary Waddock was delighted to see his side show a range of abilities as they dispatched Rotherham 1-0. Gareth Ainsworth's first-half header was enough for Wycombe to cement their place in the automatic promotion places in League Two as the visitors had Jason Taylor sent off in stoppage time for kicking out at Stuart Beavon. Home goalkeeper Nikki Bull had produced an outstanding save to preserve his side's lead when he tipped Ryan Taylor's header from Nicky Law's cross onto the bar. Speaking after the match Waddock said: "We asked the players to take care of the performance and I thought we showed a little bit of everything. "Rotherham are a big, strong side and a good one of that and we stood up to the physical side as well, so overall I'm delighted. "Bull`s save was outstanding and he, along with everyone in the squad, has played a part in getting us to where we are now."
