Rendell hails Wycombe display

Scott Rendell jokingly compared Wycombe to World Cup winners Spain following their 3-1 pre-season victory over Hayes & Yeading. Rendell scored one goal - his first for Wycombe - and set up two for Kevin Betsy as the Chairboys continued their unbeaten run in pre-season. And the striker told the club's official website: "The three goals was brilliant and we were playing like Spain! Some of the passing and the movement was ridiculous. "The way the boys found time and space was fantastic, that's what we want to take into the season. "All pre-season games are hard but you get out of it what you put into it. In the first half we showed what a good team we are." Rendell added: "Every striker wants to score his first goal for his new club. It's a good feeling and I want to kick on now."
