Rendell back in contention for Chairboys

Wycombe striker Scott Rendell could return for the visit of Port Vale. Rendell has been out for almost a month with an ankle injury but is back in training and should be in contention for Saturday. Left-back Andy Sandell - who has scored seven goals this season - picked up a knee injury in the recent win over Rotherham and missed the midweek victory over Cheltenham. He remains doubtful and will be handed a late fitness test while centre-back Dave Winfield completes a two-game ban so Alan Bennett will continue in his place. Winger Kevin Betsy is fit again after a groin injury and striker Jon-Paul Pittman is back in the fold after a lengthy spell out with a knee injury.
