Former Wycombe winger Matt Phillips has backed the Chairboys to win promotion this season after he completed his move to the Premier League.
Phillips - who joined the League Two club as an eight-year-old - left to join Blackpool on transfer deadline day in a deal which could net the Chairboys £700,000 but will keep an eye on their progress.
He told the club's official website: "It is a great place to learn your trade. To come up through the ranks and play in the first team was massive for me.
"I am sure with Gary Waddock in charge Wycombe will go back up this season. I'll be looking out for their results.
"I'm buzzing after the move and I want to make a statement.
"Playing in the Premier League is what you dream of as a kid and hopefully I can impress and kick on."
