Phillips the hero for England
Wycombe`s Matthew Phillips grabbed a late equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw against France and fire England`s Under-19s into the European Championship semi-finals.
England were on their way out of the tournament in France until substitute Phillips popped up in injury time to follow up a save from his header and tap home the rebound from close range.
The Young Lions, who beat Austria in their opener before losing to Holland in their second game, finished runners-up in Group A will now face Spain in Tuesday`s semi-final.
