Opportunity for youngster - Waddock
Wycombe manager Gary Waddock has challenged a trio of teenage talents to emulate Matty Phillips and earn a place in the first team.
Phillips was sold to Blackpool on transfer deadline day which saw Matt McClure promoted to the squad. He could soon be followed by Kadeem Harris and Jerome Federico if they impress in training.
Waddock said: "It is an ideal opportunity for Kadeem and Jerome and Matt to push on now.
"We have got a decent crop coming through so I am very keen to promote the younger players if they are good enough.
"We tried to protect Matty Phillips and that is the same with any young player. You can't put them in and just leave them but with the younger players here they have an excellent chance because of the coaching we have and the opportunities they will get."
