Montrose ban hits Wycombe

Wycombe will be without midfielder Lewis Montrose when Hereford come to Adams Park on Boxing Day. Montrose was scheduled to return from suspension against the Bulls but will instead sit out a one-match ban after last weekend's trip to Southend fell foul of the freezing weather. However, the Chairboys are very confident that Sunday's fixture will take place which will allow Gary Waddock's side to continue their decent form. Dagenham & Redbridge midfielder Stuart Lewis extended his loan deal this week and he will now be with the club until the end of January. Defender Leon Johnson could make his 100th appearance for the Chairboys and striker Jon-Paul Pittman continues his recovery from a ruptured knee tendon which is expected to keep him out until the new year. Josh Parker (foot) remains the only other long-term injury concern and the midfielder will not feature for at least six weeks.
