Johnson ready for milestone

Leon Johnson believes that there is no better place than Southend to record a century of appearances for Wycombe. The 29-year-old defender has fought his way back into the starting line-up and completed back-to-back games for the first time since September in the win over Bury ahead of this weekend's trip to Essex. "I started out at Southend as a trainee," Johnson told the Buckinghamshire Examiner. "I played quite a few games. "It will be great to go back. "It will be nice to get the appearance record there but I just want to go and get us the three points."
