Hard-earned point pleases Waddock

Wycombe boss Garry Waddock was pleased with another important point after the goalless draw at Hereford. Goalkeeper Nikki Bull produced a string of fine saves to earn his side a point, denying Bulls midfielder Joe Colbeck and striker Stuart Fleetwood twice to put Wanderers a step closer to promotion. Waddock said: "It was a clean sheet and a point away from home so you can't really argue with that. "We wanted all three but we'll certainly settle for one. "The players kept working hard and they showed a lot of commitment and effort but Hereford are a good side. "Everybody wants to win every game but Hereford are a good side and they are not going to lie down and die. They needed the points as well."
