Wrexham snap up defender Ashton

Wrexham have signed former Chester City defender Neil Ashton after impressing during a trial at the Racecourse.Ashton, who can play at left-back and midfield, has been training with Wrexham since Chester went out of business. But he has had to prove his fitness after a number of months out injured.
