Tremarco's new lease of life

Wrexham left-back Carl Tremarco is keen to agree a new deal with the Red Dragons after impressing in his short stay at the Racecourse Ground. Brian Little snapped up the 22-year-old from Tranmere Rovers last month on a contract running until the end of this season and, although he is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, Tremarco enjoying life with Wrexham. "It's like a new lease of life," he told the Evening Leader. "It's nice to do something different every day. "It was the same thing every day at Tranmere but I'm enjoying coming into training because I'm involved on the Saturday. There's something at the end of the week. "I want to play well for the rest of the season and hopefully get offered a new contract. I'd love to stay."
